Complete infrared camera system for reading bar codes using fluorescence.  Full custom design includes mechanical assembly, firmware (Windows CE), battery, image sensor, optics.  Working prototype delivered on an aggressive schedule of only 6 months.

Measures blood oxygen levels using a finger sensor.  Design included USB power, sensor isolation, and optimizing FFT based signal processing algorithms to run on a low power 16 bit TI MSP430 platform.  FDA 510K clinical testing.  Best power / performance in the industry.

Measures blood clotting capability.  Design included ARM processor, signal processing algorithms, OLED display, sensor interface, USB interface, Inclinometer, Ethernet, WiFi, firmware, host software and FDA / CE mark testing.

Pocket PC based pulse oximeter.  Sensor interface minimized to fit in compact flash enclosure.  This innovative device was the first of its  type to receive a FDA 510K marketing clearance.  Supported 7 different languages.  Operated on multiple different platforms including laptops.  Marketed and sold worldwide.

Robust control system to maintain precise loading on a patient’s back or neck during a decompression procedure.  This device is used to alleviate a patient’s lumbar or cervical pain without the need for surgical procedures.  This device received a FDA 510K and was marketed and sold worldwide.

Thermal Camera / PDA InterfaceThermal Camera / PDA Interface

 

Design included custom sleeve for Pocket PC which transferred high speed image data from thermal camera to PDA.  Embedded software (Windows CE) produced live video at up to 30 frames per second.  FPGA design, high efficiency image processing software, PDA interface.  Visible digital camera interface for simultaneous thermal and visible video.  Marketed and sold worldwide.
