Video controller for outdoor LED digital billboards. Redesigned electrical controller, reduced entire previous design into a single chip Xilinx FPGA. Real time video streaming over FTDI USB 2.0 link at 480 mbps. Provided Windows driver for communications. Human Patient Simulator
State of the art patient simulator designed for training in anesthesia, respiratory and critical care. Provided firmware embedded control and status system for all internal hardware devices. DAC’s, ADC’s, audio mic and speakers, digital I/O, valves, field effect sensors, SD card, USB. Ethernet TCP/IP stack link to host. ARM processors. PC based diagnostic system.

Measures blood oxygen levels using a finger sensor. Design included USB power, sensor isolation, and optimizing FFT based signal processing algorithms to run on a low power 16 bit TI MSP430 platform. FDA 510K clinical testing. Best power / performance in the industry.

Pocket PC based pulse oximeter. Sensor interface minimized to fit in compact flash enclosure. This innovative device was the first of its type to receive a FDA 510K marketing clearance.
